Lobster Shanty in Cocoa Beach Sold

After over 30 years of operation, waterfront restaurant Jack Baker’s Lobster Shanty has recently been sold for a grand total of $2,003,000. New Jersey based operator of the franchise Chef’s International, Inc., made the decision to close their two Florida locations to concentrate on the Lobster Shanty locations in New Jersey. The buyer of the property, Buzz Underill of Underill Property Management owns and operates Squid Lips restaurants in Sebastian and Melbourne. The buyer plans on expanding and making extensive renovations to the property to make way for their third waterfront Squid Lips location. The deal was brokered by Jeremiah Baron & Co. Commercial Real Estate, LLC.
